Wanderlust from Galveston to the World:
Hailing from the charming community of Galveston, Texas, I was infused with a sense of wanderlust from a young age. As I embarked on my path to higher education, the world became my classroom and exploration my mission. With each step I took, I yearned to experience the diversity that this world has to offer.
From Study Abroad Dreams to Reality:
University was my gateway to a world beyond my hometown’s horizons. My first year led me to the picturesque city of Bath, England. It was here that I had a “main character” moment, discovering the true essence of independence while immersing myself in a charming city of Europe. From the lively streets of Spain to the enchanting castles in Wales, and from the classical charm of Austria to the mystique of Egypt and Turkey, I soaked in the diverse flavors of each culture I encountered.
Embracing My Roots as a Proud Chicana:
Rooted in a family of immigrants from Mexico, I stand tall as a proud Chicana, ready to share my heritage with the world. Our traditions, holidays, and customs are the tapestry of my identity, and I love educating my friends about our rich culture. My parents instilled in me the value of education, fueling my determination to pursue higher learning. I’m currently on the path to a BS in Data Science for Justice, Law, and Criminology. I’m excited to be approaching my Junior year with a graduation goal set for 2025.
Sharing the Secrets of Affordable Exploration:
The question on many minds: “How do you manage to travel so much?” My answer has always been scholarships and grants, which have paved the way for my journeys. It dawned on me that instead of repeating my response, I could share my insights with a wider audience! This realization was the birth of this blog. Through writing and fun vlogs, I aim to expose the art of budget-friendly travel. From personal opinions and travel tips to recommendations and resource sharing, my platform is a space where I spill the beans on both travel and lifestyle!

A fun fact about me: I love to learn languages but I am not multilingual (I know, how sad). I immerse myself in many countries so I find myself learning a couple of phrases pre-travel so I can experience locally. I wish that there were more hours in a day to dedicate myself to language learning!
